A Multi-Floor Corporate Experience at Vibe Credit Union Showplace
When a Top 20 Global Fortune 500 organization gathers its North American leadership for a private conference, every detail carries weight. The expectation is not just that the event runs smoothly, but that communication across every session feels effortless, consistent, and fully controlled. This unique event was designed to showcase Global OEM conference AV solutions in a state-of-the-art environment.
In April 2026, Mercury was engaged to deliver full audiovisual production for the North American leadership conference of a premier global automotive OEM, hosted at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, Michigan. The event spanned two full floors of programming, each operating simultaneously as its own live production environment while maintaining a unified standard of execution across the entire conference.
This was not a one-time engagement. Mercury has supported this annual conference for multiple years, and continues to serve as the AV production partner for upcoming editions—reflecting a long-term relationship built on trust, consistency, and operational precision at scale.
A Multi-Floor Production Environment
The scale of the venue required a production approach that could function independently on each floor while still delivering a cohesive experience for attendees and presenters.
Both floors of the Vibe Credit Union Showplace were fully transformed into live conference environments, each featuring dedicated staging, truss and rigging systems, professional lighting design, and high-output audio systems engineered for clarity across large rooms. At the front of each stage, integrated display systems provided real-time presentation content and teleprompter feeds, ensuring that speakers remained aligned with messaging without distraction.
While each floor operated independently, the visual and technical consistency between them was intentional. The goal was not to treat them as separate events, but as extensions of the same unified corporate experience.
Designed for Executive-Level Communication
At its core, this conference was about communication at the highest level of the organization. That required an AV system designed to support—not interrupt—the flow of executive presentations.
Each stage was built to accommodate clear, confident delivery. Microphone systems were tuned for speech intelligibility in large spaces, while teleprompter integration and confidence displays allowed presenters to stay aligned with structured messaging. Large-format screens positioned at the front of each room ensured that visual content remained visible and synchronized with live presentations.
Nothing about the system was designed to draw attention to itself. Instead, every component worked together to remove friction from the presentation experience.
Capturing the Conference for Internal Use
In addition to live production, Mercury provided full camera coverage on both floors throughout the duration of the event. Dedicated camera operators captured each session in its entirety, ensuring the client had a complete record of the conference for internal use.
This added an additional layer of precision to the production, requiring careful coordination between live presentation flow and recorded content capture. The result was a fully documented conference that could be archived, reviewed, and distributed internally without any loss in production quality.
Coordination at Scale
Behind the scenes, the complexity of running two simultaneous production environments required careful system design and real-time coordination. Audio, video, lighting, and stage operations were managed across both floors with a focus on consistency and redundancy, ensuring that each session could proceed without interruption.
While attendees experienced a seamless conference, the infrastructure supporting it was intentionally engineered for stability and control under continuous load.
A Continuing Partnership with a Global Mobility Leader
This event represents more than a single production engagement. Mercury’s relationship with this global automaker spans multiple years of conference support, with each event building on the systems, workflows, and refinements developed in previous editions. That continuity allows for greater efficiency, deeper understanding of internal expectations, and an increasingly refined production experience year over year.
Planning is already underway for next year’s conference, reinforcing the value of long-term production partnerships in high-stakes corporate environments.
Conclusion
This executive leadership conference at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace demonstrates what modern, top-tier corporate event production demands: scalable systems, consistent execution across multiple environments, and AV that supports communication without ever competing with it.
Across two fully active floors, Mercury delivered a unified production experience designed for clarity, reliability, and precision at every level. The technology remained invisible by design, allowing the focus to stay exactly where it belonged—on the message.

Mercury Sound & Lighting was asked to design a lighting system for Lear Corporation that would create a trade show like atmosphere at their headquarters in Southfield, MI. A truss system was requested to imitate that of a an auto show display that would allow for lighting fixtures to be suspended for overhead lighting on display’s. The team at Mercury worked closely alongside Sr. Creative Lead, Assi Grossman, to insure a quality outcome in this new space.
We often get this question. “My DJ offers uplighting. Why should we choose Mercury?” We are glad you asked.
Event lighting is the most essential part of event design and it has a magical power of transforming what you have into what you want to have. Well-thought out lighting can turn a shabby hotel restaurant into an elegant wedding hall or a retro inspired party venue. All you need is a proper collaboration of traditional lighting elements and high-tech event lighting technologies.
